Dental Geelong has a long history in Geelong for providing excellence in dental treatment and customer service, but Dentalspa Geelong gives back to the Geelong community. As you may not be aware we are also active within the local community where we live.
In past years we have participated in the Bellarine and Geelong Kid’s Expos, Run Geelong 2013 and two years running at the Geelong Show. We have also donated to Geelong Mum’s, which is a fantastic non-profit group that helps out new mothers and families in need. We not only want to work and live in Geelong but give back where we can to better our community.
Most recently, the Dentalspa Geelong Tooth Fairies appeared at the Chilwell Primary School Food Fair on the day. Dentalspa Geelong is also a Bronze Sponsorship member for the second year running.

The Chilwell Food Fair was a fantastic event, which this year drew record crowds and is a great afternoon and night out for families. The Dentalspa Tooth Fairies participated in on-stage entertainment and gave out balloons and stickers, as well as information to support mouthguard awareness to families. As part of our contribution, we have also donated 4 mouth guards to the silent auction. More photos can be viewed on our Facebook page
Dental Education Program
Another project that Dentalspa is passionate about is our dental education program within pre-school and schools. With dental disease prevention as a strong focus of our practice, this core value is reflected in our outreach dental education program- the Dentaspa Discovery Tour. Our Oral Health Therapist has developed and delivered this fantastic program to Geelong pre-schools, kindergartens, primary school and more recently play groups and mother groups and is now in its third year, with outstanding responses this year.
The aim of this program is to provide information to teachers, parents and children in regards to dental awareness and education and to promote the importance of starting good dental habits and routines early to prevent dental decay and disease.
In the coming months we have six various Greater Geelong play group, South Geelong Primary and Bay City Early Learning Centre scheduled to participate in the program this year.
